To understand how your temperament and work style affect your career, you will complete an
online assessment of your aptitudes, interests, skills, and attitudes. This will be followed by a
customized report of up to 25 pages identifying your inherent work values, behavioral
characteristics, and communication style. I employ the DISCovery profiling system to incorporate
the report's findings into your résumé, cover letter, and interviewing skills. In crafting your résumé,
I incorporate the language of your natural and adaptive skills to demonstrate your value to an
employer.
Another powerful benefit: You can use the report as part of your career portfolio. When
interviewing, you can effectively share the section entitled Value to the Organization with the
employer.

Your personal assessment and all career documents described above are included with this
package, plus an additional assessment, Interviewing Insights, will guide you to your most
effective style of interviewing. When you become aware of your personal characteristics and
positive traits, you are better able to display these traits to your best advantage and convey this
information to the interviewer – explaining how these skills will help you perform the job. This
package includes two hours of one-on-one personal coaching. This session will interpret the
assessment report and rehearse you for interviewing.

An online résumé is an effective networking tool. Whether you are on the phone, writing a
letter, meeting with someone, attending a conference, on vacation, or e-mailing someone, your
www address can be shared orally, in writing, as a electronic link, or by handing out a
networking business card. (I can help you with the card.) Your résumé is accessible
anywhere, anytime. It can be downloaded and printed from the Internet or copied and pasted to
job boards with the url address.

BUSINESS WRITING & EDITING
I provide copy editing for businesses, students, and authors. Services include simple
proof reading (mechanical editing) with attention to spelling, punctuation, consistency
in capitalization, sentence structure, grammar, treatment of numbers, and basic
English usage.
Substantive editing deals with organization, syntax, content, prosaic quality. re-
phrasing for smoothness, elimination of ambiguity, and some suggested rewriting.
